LANA TUPCHIK, ESQ.

​

About twenty years ago, Lana V. Tupchik, began her legal carrier while still in law school, working as a legal assistant at a large firm, and volunteering as a services provider in cases of domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse and neglect. After obtaining her law degree and excelling in advocating for parents and children in the areas of abuse and neglect, Lana opened her own law firm, offering a holistic approach to legal representation of the children, youth and adults in criminal and family courts.

While she has enjoyed success and recognition as a trial lawyer, in both criminal and family courts, she always sought an alternative and creative long-term solution for the youth and their families.

Lana has written and lectured on legal topics relating to Child Protective Services regulations and policies, child neglect and abuse laws, domestic violence, including sexual abuse, juvenile delinquency practices and procedures, and professional conduct of litigation in both Criminal and Family Courts.

She is looking forward to working with you, and helping to complete your legal matter so you can go back to being you.

BILL BECK, ESQ.

Bill comes from a small town that has more corn fields than gas stations, he knows how important hard work is to success. From this experience, he is well aware of how hard you work to provide for your family and those close to you. He feels it is his job to help protect you and ensure that you and your family continue to move forward.

He graduated from Syracuse College of Law in 2013 and practices in Criminal Defense and areas of the Domestic Relations Law.

Throughout his career, he has worked in private firms, a government funded criminal defense office, and a volunteer based not-for-profit organization. The skills that he learned from each are invaluable.

To Bill, you are the main priority. Always.

 MELISSA MEYER, PARALEGAL

Melissa has over twelve years of experience.  Melissa is a graduate of Hilbert College, with a Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies in 2007 and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2001. She joined the firm in 2019.

Melissa uses her considerable multitasking skills and client care to help families in transition by providing detailed support to the clients and attorneys. From complex litigation to simple settlements, she is involved from beginning to end. Melissa assists clients and the Courts by providing regular contact, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case files, managing deadlines and drafting pleading and letters.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, traveling, and attending concerts with her husband and spending time with their collection of cats.
